In this Nikon Z8 recall video I show you exactly what's going wrong with the Nikon Z8 mount and why mine simply won't work at times.
The cure before we go any further is to send your Nikon Z8 in for repair via the Nikon Service Advisory, do not under any circumstances attempt to repair your Nikon Z8 yourself.
So what's the issue with the Nikon Z8 mount and is it serious or not? Well, no, it's not at all serious and but it is also nice to know where the trouble lies with the Z8 camera.
I spend years repairing digital cameras and worked in an approved sevice centre for one of the main camera brands and obviously I was going to have a look at this seeing as how my Nikon Z8 has a faulty mount.
Sure enough after about 3 or 4 minutes of looking at it I found the fault and it's not a big one it's simply a faulty leaf spring on the mount.
