Last weekend, the historic Madras Airport hosted the annual Cascade Airshow. ✈️🏔️
The Friday night performances, timed to coincide with sunset, featured the U.S. Army Golden Knights Parachute Team, a micro jet, aerial stunts and a collection of WWII era bombers and fighters like the P-51 Mustang, the B-17 Flying Fortress and the T-6 Texan. The vintage planes are owned and maintained by the Erickson Aircraft Collection in Madras, and are part of the largest collection of still-operational WWII warbirds in the United States.
