Many students, working engineers, and freshers ask us for career advice. Here it is, this wants we advise you.
you should always keep options open. People think of careers as a status statement but you have to explore many options not only 2-4. study about it get in touch with people working in that field and know more. Then and only then you will be able to decide what is best for you. job, career and corporate life are all important but making the right decision about these is much more important.
And if you are still confused give it a try. what can possibly go wrong? you won't like it or you are not good at it? but it will give you an idea of whether you want to continue in this field or not.
you need to break your mental constrain. there are far more fields than engineering and doctorate. go out and explore before you set into actual efforts and knowing you don't like it.
