We've discovered another secret in this fantastic city, the Cassettai Fiorentini! An association of souvenir and publications sellers that have an over 100 year history selling goods to tourists in the main piazzas.
We walk past these "tourist stands" everyday but we have no clue as to the history and goals behind such an initiative. LdM News headed to piazza Duomo to interview one of the longest serving casettai about the association and the logistics behind such an operation.
