Lin-Manuel Miranda's Emotional Final Hamilton Performance
Lin-Manuel Miranda, creator of the broadway sensation Hamilton, performed his final night in the title role on Saturday night. It was also the final night for other members of the original cast, including Tony Award-winning actor Leslie Odom Jr., Phillipa Soo, and chorus member Ariana DeBose. The curtain call, which was broadcast on Facebook Live, featured the orchestra playing the theme to Aaron Sorkin's The West Wing as Miranda took his final bow. Miranda has cited The West Wing as his biggest inspiration in creating Hamilton.
