Sacha Baron Cohen Confirms ‘Borat’ Caused Pamela Anderson And Kid Rock To Divorce
In a recent interview Sacha Baron Cohen revealed that his film 'Borat' was the cause of Pamela Anderson and Kid Rock's divorce. At the time of the movie's release in 2006, the couple was going through a very public break up and some tabloids were attributing it to Anderson's involvement in 'Borat.' Uproxx reported that Baron Cohen confirmed for the first time ever that this was indeed the case. Baron Cohen had texted Anderson after the premiere, asking her what Kid Rock thought of the movie. She texted back they were getting divorced, and when he asked why she replied, "The movie." Baron Cohen even revealed the couple cited Borat as the reason for their divorce on their official paperwork.
