Some on-line subscription plan psychiatric companies prescribe medications with high abuse potential, at high doses, with only 2, 5 or 10 minute evaluations. Psychiatry is complex and treatment should be tailored to the individual. Having a provider who will take time understanding your condition, who is familiar with your local resources, and thoroughly discusses risks and benefits of medications available is in your best interest. Behavioral modification, non-pharmacological options and therapy are incredibly important, and they take time to explore with a patient.
