Sketchbook Tour: Amsterdam and New Ideas About Color
A flip-through of one sketchbook, plus a few more drawings that spilled over into other sketchbooks, where I was trying out some new ideas about color and composition. Most of these are based on photos I took in Amsterdam on a trip almost twenty years ago. Some of these experiments didn't work out, but that's the whole point of trying new things! Eventually I worked out a new way of sketching, with a different color palette and some new drawing tools.
