brief experiment with a few vst plugins, to see if they could help improve the HF RECEIVE AUDIO on a ESSB voice qso on 80 meters - 3630 -
1. Automatic Gain Control
2. audio BANDPASS filter
3. 5 band EQ
4. BASS ENHANCER
5 audio analyzer
a few of the features i liked about this setup, is the ability of the EQ to lower a bit, the volume of the typical "audio mud" around 400 hertz... also the BASS ENHANCER plugin - to increase the BASS presence on the voices(might need headphones to hear the BASS plugin working)...also the LOUDMAX plugin to help keep the volume the same within a certain range...
