The first method is by opening a web browsers and in the address bar type diskstation:5000 and press enter. This is the default name of your Synology Diskstation so if you've called this something else during setup you can type the name you gave it, followed by a colon and then 5000. In my case I called this diskstationfast so I would type in diskstationfast:5000 , but you would probably use diskstation:5000.
The next method would be to visit find.synology.com and do a search. The website will scan and try to find a Synology Diskstation on your local network via your web browser.
The final method that is most likely to work is to install the Synology Assistant. This software scans your local network for Synology Diskstations and then presents you with a list that you can double click to visit the main web interface. It's really easy and very quick.
