The Yorkshire and Humber Mother and Baby Unit
Our Perinatal Mental Health Service provides care and support for women experiencing significant mental health difficulties during pregnancy and for the first year after their child’s birth.
The Yorkshire and Humber Mother and Baby Unit is part of this service and provides an inpatient environment where mums can receive treatment while continuing to care for their baby.
This film has been created to show you what to expect if you’re referred to the unit, introducing you to the ward and some of the staff who work there.
