In this new After Effects CC tutorial I'll show you how to create this epic music video style transition effect. This has been used in many music videos and vlogger-style videos here on youtube. CAUTION: This is an advanced tutorial and I do not show you click-by-click how to do it. I break down this effect in a series of steps in order to keep this tutorial about 10 minutes in length. Since there is a lot of masking, track mattes, and effects used on this one I broke it down into easy to follow steps.

• For this tutorial, I use After Effects CC 2017. No plugins are required.
KEYS TO SUCCESS:
• Rotoscope your arm by using the rotobrush tool or pen tool.
• Use Track Mattes to add objects in front of your TV or piece of paper.
• When you line up the two clips, make sure the hand grabbing happens in the middle of the frame.
