How I create mockups for art presentation
As an artist I know how challenging it can be to sell art online. There is nothing like seeing artwork in person. And art studio visits are a more fun way to sell and buy art. But during these times with the Coronavirus that is just not an option. Many artists are adding shopping carts to their websites so their collectors can still see and purchase their work.
A few things you need to include when building a website for sales in addition to the actual shopping cart are good photos of your artwork, detail photos and multiple room settings showing the scale of the art and what kind of wall it will look good on. Mockups are challenging for most artists. Not all artists are proficient in photoshop and even if you are you still have to find the room photos and it is a time stealing chore.
There two Online Mockup Services are perfect for making your art look great. I chose two services because original artwork needs a full room set-up, while art prints need a smaller area in a room like above a dresser or desk. Both of these services have some sort of try out so you can see for yourself how easy it is to use. Canvy.com is perfect for your larger originals or Prints and MockupEditor.com is good for those desktop set-ups.
