Instrument Cable Schedule / JB Wiring Diagrams (Part - 12F)
This deliverable includes the information on the type of cables, cable length and junction box details. The instrument cable schedule and JB wiring details are to be discussed today.
1) Instrument Cable Schedule: The instrument cable schedule is a document containing a list of instrument cables. This document shows the cables as well as glands required for each instrument or connection.
2)Instrument Junction Boxes and Wiring Schedule: A junction box is an enclosure that is used to interconnect the cables between field devices and the control room. The junction boxes enclose terminal strips for cable termination.
