Notion for Software Developers! (Template Included)
As a software developer working on multiple projects at once and keeping track of all tasks, issues and resources can be a challenge. In this video I'm going to walk you through a Notion dashboard I built specifically to help software developers be more productive.

Projects form that fundamental of any work that I do, therefore this is the main database in my dashboard.
Each project however, can have multiple tasks associated with it. Keeping track of these tasks as to-do list items on the project page can be difficult to manage, especially once you have many projects that you are working on simultaneously.Therefore, I decided to build a database just for tasks and relate each task to a project.
Furthermore, a common responsibility of a software developer is to keep track of software issues and bugs. To make this process easy, I've built an Issue tracker database and added error handlers to my code that create records in this database, with the error data, with the help of the Notion API. Each issue is also related to a project.
Finally, a software developer never stops learning, however, keeping track of information and resources is equally as important. For this use-case I created a Resources database, where I can create new records for interesting learnings and findings, and easily find them by searching for tag keywords. Each resource record also has a relation field to the projects database, just in case I want to relate it to a particular project.
Since Tasks, Issues and Resources are usually related to specific projects, I created linked database views on my project database pages to list all the records from those databases that are related to projects.
