WARNING! ADDICTIVE Sichuan Fried Chicken - The Tipsy Cookery
HIGHLY ADDICTIVE!! This fried chicken recipe is absolutely AMAZING! It kind of reminds me of the Taiwanese Salty Peppery Chicken, but instead of using 5 spice powder, I used the numbing Sichuan Peppercorn. The fragrance from this dish is UNREAL! This dish will go great with beer, wine… really anything…
Try this one out! You will NOT regret it!
Marinade Recipe:
5 Deboned Chicken Thighs
2 tsp Shaoxing Wine
1 tbsp Light Soy Sauce
1 tsp Sesame Oil
1 Egg White
2 Grated Garlic
1/2 tsp Grated Ginger
1 tbsp Salt
Spice Mix:
2 tbsp Sichuan Peppercorn
1.5 tbsp Salt
1/2 tsp White Pepper
1 tsp Sugar
Batter:
1/2 cup All Purpose Flour
1/2 cup Corn Starch
1 tsp Salt
1/2 tsp Black Pepper
Top with Green Onion
