Fast tip here, if you open up a new Google Meet Video Meeting and see your microphone muted, then not only annoying but how do you fix it fast, and not be late?
Update Feb 2021, Hi all, Just made a Windows Control Panel method, watch it here: Google Meet How to Reset your Microphone Muted by your System Settings using Windows Control Panel: only 90 secs long .. Good Luck un-muting ..
In WIndows 10: Settings, Sound, scroll down for Advanced Sound Options then RESET, you may have to change default Input to your Microphone too.
Then Reload page (f5 or Ctrl+R) .. This tip was for the meet.google.com video service
There is official help, yet loads of bits to the page and no help to me when i was stuck :(
