The British Deer Society, 'Ageing a live deer can never be precise, as a lot of factors can affect body & antler development. However, the team agree that this one is a great buck in his prime and probably between 7 and 10 years old.

Fallow Antler growth is highly variable dependant on nutrition, but few would reach that size and palmation earlier than their 6th year. Above that age generally can't readily distinguish whether 6 , 7 , 8 , 9 , 10 year from antlers alone.
