20 MINUTES of GREAT Plane Spotting at LOS ANGELES Riverside March Air Base [KRIV/RIV]
Featured Aircraft: A330s, B707s, B737s, B757s, B767s, C17s, E6s & KC135s!
Riverside Airport, or also known as March Air Base is located about an hour outside of the city of Los Angeles in California and acts as a homebase for Omega's Boeing 707-300 Tankers, these aircraft are significant as they're some of the last remaining original Boeing 707 aircraft still flying. On my visit to this beautiful airport, I was delighted to be able to capture 3 different 707 variants, that being the original 707 from Omega, the USAF KC-135 which is a modified and modernized 707 but the elusive E-6 Mercury, operated by the US navy.
The airfield alone is incredibly scenic, with a stunning mountain scape enclosing the airport. Along with this, during my visit the mountains were snow-capped, further adding to the tranquillity and picturesque nature of the footage you can gather here.
