Former Uvalde Mayor Don McLaughlin says documents 'should have been released months ago'
Don McLaughlin was the mayor of Uvalde during the worst day in the city's history: May 24, 2022 -- the day 19 children and two teachers were massacred at Robb Elementary School.
McLaughlin served as mayor of the small South Texas city from 2014 to 2023 and was reelected three times.
Last year, he stepped down and decided to run for a Texas House seat.
Sunday, McLaughlin agreed to an interview with SBG San Antonio's Matt Roy to discuss the cities release of thousands of pages of documents, hundreds of audio recordings, and dozens of hours of body cam footage.
