Final Cut Pro Preferences/Settings - MADE EASY - Lesson 17
As of macOS Ventura, "Preferences" are now known as "Settings". As this is a beginner series I'll only discuss the settings that affect the normal operations while leaving the others at the default setting. WATCH NEXT: Playlist for all 21 MADE EASY Tutorials: • Final Cut Made Easy - 21 lessons
At the top left of your screen you'll see the Final Cut menu. Select "Settings", the first tab is "General". I'd leave the time display set at hours minutes & seconds plus frames. Choose which type of color correction you prefer. I use color wheels but that's up to you. Best to leave the inspector units at pixels.

Uncompress the zip file that downloads to your computer. There are two folders,
one's called Sample Media, and that contains video, audio, photos to use with the tutorials.
The other folder called "Completed library" contains completed edits of each lesson so you can check your progress as you go through the tutorials. Double-click the library called completed lesson from the completed library folder in the finder.
