On March 14th, SpaceX launched its Starship for the third time from its Starbase site in South Texas. The primary objective of this flight was to test the prototype's new iterations, which were developed after learning from the issues encountered during the second orbital flight. If you're wondering why the second flight failed, it was due to an unplanned propellant venting.
The third flight had several key goals, including testing the payload bay door (nicknamed the 'pez dispenser'), achieving orbital velocity for Starship, hot staging, and finally, a controlled landing of both prototypes in the ocean.
