Instagram allows you to decide how the cover image of your Reels video will look in your profile grid.
Follow these steps and you will figure out how you can do it:
1. Go to your Instagram profile page and click on the plus icon at the top of the screen.
2. Select the Reel option.
3. As soon as the camera screen opens, record the video or upload it from your camera roll.
4. Now you can edit your video by mixing audio, adding voiceover, stickers, drawing or writing something.
5. Hit the Next button.
6. Press on your video icon on the left-hand side of the screen and choose the cover picture. You can use the frame from your video or select the photo from your phone’s gallery.
7. Then find the crop profile image section and tap it.
8. Now drag the square to the image part that you want to display as cover on your profile grid.
9. Click on the checkmark icon to save changes.
10. After that press on the Share button in order to post your video to Reels.
