Ferrari 575 SuperAmerica
Originally introduced in 1996 as the 550 Maranello, replaced in 2002 by the 575M, and finally in 2005 by the 575 Superamerica, the 550, 575M and 575 SA served well as the flagships of the Ferrari line, taking Ferrari’s styling back to the glory days of the long-nose, short-tail, front-engined Lusso, 275 and 365 GTB/4 Daytona coupes. Thanks to speed-sensitive power steering, they are surprisingly light and easy to drive in traffic at low speeds or utterly relaxed in top gear at America’s highway speeds. The cockpit is luxurious, roomy and comfortable for drivers of any size with climate control that works well. The 575 SA featured an increase in power to 532 hp, offering simply staggering performance with a 0-60 time of 4.2 seconds and a you-will-never-go-that-fast top speed of 203 mph, making the 575 the first front-engined Ferrari to break the magic 200 mph mark!
