How to read and identify the pitch of the notes in the treble clef. For some people, reading music is a bit of a mystery. Others rely on reading the patterns of notes ascending or descending and on reading notes that are next to each other or leaping. At the end of the day, there’s no substitute for being able to read the notes accurately. This video explains very easy ways of reading notes on the lines of the treble clef and reading notes in the spaces of the treble clef. In no time at all you’ll be reading the treble clef fluently.

The real challenge of sight singing is that it is a multi-tasking skill in that you are expected to read rhythm, pitch, words, expression, and possibly watch a conductor and sing alongside people singing a different part.
