in this video I'm going through how to fix the "DNS_PROBE_FINISHED_NXDOMAIN" message chrome shows when trying to surf to a website, this problem is usually caused by the DNS of either the service provider or the one that you're currently aiming your browsing at not being responsive or down for some reason, causing issues for sites being resolved to their domain names
to fix the issue there are two methods one that didn't work for me flushing the DNS records, that you can do by running this command as an administrator
Go to Start Menu, CMD, run as administrator, then run this command
"ipconfig /flushdns"
and check again.... That didn't work for me, rather the approach on the video was dissolution in my case, So in the video I will guide you through the process of how to change your DNS records, and where to find alternative DNS is the automatic ones provided by your Internet service provider (ISP), and changed in two ones provided by Google, Comodo, or another one of your choice.
-- Doesn't matter which DNS I select?
Yes, usually it is better to choose your DNS provided by your ISP, but in this case were talking about a situation where something is wrong with your ISP's DNS, so it's important to choose one that you trust, a big brand preferably.
Good luck
