These Chocolate cookies are thick, chewy and delicious. They have the perfect texture and best flavor. This recipe takes less than 25 minutes from start to finish. No dough chilling required!
RECIPE:
1 cup cold butter
1/2 cup brown sugar, packed
1 1/2 cup granulated sugar
2 large eggs
2 tsp caramel emulsion (optional)
2 tsp vanilla extract or cookie flavoring
2 3/4 cups all purpose flour
1 tsp baking soda
1 pinch salt
1 cup white chocolate chips
1 cup chocolate chips
1/4 cup chocolate chips morsels, extra for topping the dough
INSTRUCTIONS
1) First, preheat oven to 400 degrees. Line a baking pan with parchment paper.
2) In the bowl of a stand mixer, add “cold”butter, brown sugar and granulated sugar. Mix on high until creamy, until no clumps of butter remain. This usually takes 2 to 3 minutes. (This part is very important) in the video I forgot to add the sugar with the butter, so make sure you follow these instructions.
3) Then, add in eggs, flavorings. Mix to combine.
4) Next, add in flour, baking soda and salt. Mix to combine.
5) Fold in white chocolate chips, regular chocolate chips.
6) Use a large ice cream scooper to scoop balls of dough onto parchment lined pan. Space at least 2 inches apart. You do not need to chill the dough.
8 ) Bake for 10 to 12 minutes or until middles of cookies are barely set.
9) Finally, remove from oven. Cool on pan for 10 minutes before transferring to a cooling rack. Enjoy!
IMPORTANT NOTE: Butter should be used cold, do not sit butter out at room temperature. Butter should come straight from the fridge into mixing bowl and mix on high for 3 minutes with the sugars. ENJOY!
