Happy Halloween! 1988 NPC Los Angeles Bodybuilding Championships Overall Winner Raye "Zap" Hollitt and 1982 AAU Mr. Los Angeles Overall Winner Tom "Tommy" Lamparski were heavily featured as the mutant by-products of a mad scientist's experiments in the movie "The Immortalizer". It has a copyright date of 1989, but I'm going to guess it was shot in 1988 or even 1987 based on Raye's hairstyle and the fact that she had a prominent role in a major studio production, "Skin Deep"', in 1989, the same year she joined the "American Gladiators". So this is probably her first film role, and probably shot around the same time as Penitentiary III where Raye played a boxer. I'm not sure what happened to Tommy, who sure appears to be having fun here and has an expressive face that could have led him to other roles, comedic at least. I'm serious about that comment regarding Tommy's face at 7:56 looking like Brando in "On the Waterfront", if you don't believe me, watch that movie. But show biz is tough, and talent is no guarantee of success, unfortunately. I hope everyone is well, thanks for watching and commenting, I'm going to make an effort to post more often. Check out the stuff I have up for sale on eBay, google "ebay jphelan3". *Note: Just realized I typed in the video that Lamparski won the tall class at the Mr. L.A., should have read heavyweight class instead.
