Pro Bodybuilder Troy Zuccolotto in 1984 + Superfoot Wallace spars Fong!
If you perused bodybuilding magazines in the early 1990s you probably saw a lot of Troy Zuccolotto, who won the 1989 NPC National Bodybuilding Championships and went on to compete as a pro in both the WBF and the IFBB. Troy appeared in a couple of network TV shows, but his first onscreen credit is from way back in 1984 - and here it is, "Muscleman" in the classic Leo Fong/Cameron Mitchell movie "Killpoint"! Troy placed 4th Heavyweight in the NPC California Bodybuilding Championships that year and perhaps caught the eye of the producers who featured him for a couple of meaningful seconds. And for you martial arts fans, kickboxing legend Bill "Superfoot" Wallace makes a slightly less brief appearance as star Leo Fong's sparring partner. Be sure to watch the great training montage featuring Leo, sporting what used to be known as an Ish Kabibble hairstyle, fightin', shootin', liftin', concentratin' - I wish it was 1984 again so I could watch this movie at a drive-in theater.
