NOTE #2 - Empire Selection

If you wish to copy this custom empire that I use in this video, you will need the SYNTHETIC DAWN DLC in order to choose the MECHANIST CIVIC. And if you are playing version 2.6 or higher of the game, this is no longer a Civic, but is instead an ORIGIN (check the left-hand tabs when creating an empire).

IT IS COMPLETELY ACCEPTABLE to chose one of the default, humanoid-style factions for following along with this video. You do not need robots to learn how to play Stellaris.
