I needed to make space in the shed I built on the side of my house. The lawn mower typically takes up a lot of space in any shed. My Toro 22” Recycler Stowaway Lawn Mower is built to collapse for easy stowage. This makes it easy to fold up and throw onto this “drawer” that I built. The materials I used for the enclosure was just 3/4” MDF (painted), 1/4 inch plywood (for top of MDF that mower sits on), and 3/4 inch strata board for the “rails” the industrial slides sit on. I used simple hinges, pre-treated lumber for the door. The shed itself is covered in hardie board plank siding.
The box is a simply screwed together with KREG screws, not a requirement but an easy option.
This has been operating with NO MAINTENANCE for approximately 2 years. The industrial slides easily handle the weight of the mower. Very happy with the way this turned out.
