In this video, I go over Google EAT and Google YMYL. These two acronyms are introduced by Google and they are important for SEO today and beyond.
Google EAT stands for Expertise, Authority, Trust. This means that Google wants content created by experts who have authority on a given subject matter, and the content is posted on sites that are trustworthy and established.
Google YMYL stands for Your Money or Your Life, meaning that sites that have to do with finance, health, or people's wellbeing are put through more scrutiny than other sites before they are deemed to be trustworthy, expert, and authoritative. So if you are starting a business today, make sure you are an expert so you can fit into the Google EAT model.
