The recipes, as they say, couldn’t be simpler - very simple and proven over the years. For Maslenitsa 2024 and for every day: cheese pancakes, pancakes with milk and water, fluffy pancakes with a hole (Moroccan Baghrir pancakes) and thin zucchini pancakes with herbs. 📝Pancake recipes:
1️⃣ Cheese pancakes
Milk – 450-500 ml
Flour – 250 g
Cheese – 150 g
Egg – 2 pcs.
Salt – 1 tsp.
Sugar – 1 tsp.
Baking powder – 1 tsp.
vegetable oil
For the sauce:
Sour cream - 60 g
Mayonnaise - 60 g
Garlic - 2 cloves
Dill greens - 10 g
*if the dough turns out thick, add a little water
*if the dough turns out too liquid, add a little flour
2️⃣ Thin pancakes with milk and water
Eggs - 2 pcs.
Flour - 160-170 g
Water - 250 ml
Milk - 250 ml
Salt - 0.5 tsp.
Sugar - 1 tbsp.
Vegetable oil - 10 ml
3️⃣ Moroccan pancakes Bagrir (fluffy yeast pancakes)
Semolina – 250 g
Water – 500 ml
Flour – 40 g
Sugar – 2 tbsp.
Dry yeast (active) – 1 tsp. with a slide
Salt – 0.5 tsp.
Baking powder – 2 tsp.
For the sauce, mix butter with honey (ratio 1:1)
4️⃣ Zucchini pancakes with herbs
Zucchini – 400 g
Eggs – 3 pcs.
Flour – 400-450 g
Milk – 700 ml
Vegetable oil – 4 tbsp.
Salt – 1 tsp.
Sugar – 1 tsp.
Parsley – 10 g
