COLD WAR 2.0: CUBA just authorized CHINA to build spy base on the island
Cuba has always been an obstacle for the United States since Fidel Castro came to power in 1959. On the one hand, because Cuba ended up confiscating all U.S.-owned assets on the island, from sugar cane crops to refineries, banks, hotels and casinos. And, on the other hand, because the island was fomenting destabilizing and violent movements throughout Latin America. In an attempt to spread communism and anti-U.S. ideology.
