There is something WRONG with this PSVR 2 game... // Broken AI & VR Sword Fighting!
The new Swordsman VR ranged weapons update seems to have broken the game on PSVR 2, I was excited to finally see how this VR sword fighting game holds up on Sony's new VR headset today after Sinn Studio dropped their archery and ranged combat update but sadly the AI now appears to be completely broken (for me at least - and yes I have downloaded all updates including the most recent hot fix)! Swordsman VR is an arena fighting / VR sword fighting game with a series of single player scenarios to work through spanning multiple different time periods and enemy types (from knights to samurais and even pirates). The game itself is a fun VR title that I've enjoyed on the PC but here on PSVR 2 my first impressions aren't fantastic, some kind of bug seems to be disabling enemy AI moments into fighting them which means they all just stand there and wait to be destroyed... which takes quite a lot of the challenge out of the game.
If you were sad at the lack of a PSVR 2 Blade and Sorcery release then Swordsman VR would normally be an easy recommendation however I'd wait to see if this broken AI issue from the new Swordsman VR update is a widespread issue before picking it up.
