In the 2022 season, Skylar earned All-WNBA First Team honors and finished tied 3rd overall in scoring (along with Arike Ogunbowale, just behind Breanna Stewart and Kelsey Plum), 7th in assists, tied for 10th in blocks (the only sub 6 footer in the league to do so) as she played 34.0 minutes a game and missed only 6 games on the year.
The Notre Dame alum and former Indiana Miss Basketball was the offensive engine following her first WNBA Finals berth in the 2021 season. She finished 4th overall in total free throws attempted (behind Stewart, Plum, and Aerial Powers), in the top 10 in assist to turnover ratio, on the 3rd highest usage % in the league. Diggins-Smith, a lefty, has an unreal number of righty finishes.
I thought about doing a defense video as well but decided to just throw the main highlights on the back end of the video. As much as this is about Sky's scoring, let's not forget she's also a major playmaker on the defensive end.
