When your protagonists are dropped wordlessly into an unfamiliar and hostile environment, it takes a mix of factors to help portray how creepy the situation is. Composer Alan Silvestri contributes greatly here, jumping back and forth between traditional orchestral moments and otherworldly sound effects.

Starring Arnold Schwarzenegger, Carl Weathers, Jesse Ventura, Shane Black, Kevin Peter Hall, Bill Duke, Elpidia Carrillo and Sonny Landham. Directed by John McTiernan, with an original score by Alan Silvestri.
