002 - What Are Pre and Post Installation Tasks For Linux | Kali Linux | Red Hat Linux
In this video, we are going to talk about some of the important pre-install and post-install steps for #Linux which will be applied to all distributions. We will also verify that the latest version of #KaliLinux will have a root account disabled by default and then learn how to enable it and ultimately change the password for the root user. Then we will go through few steps to keep our Linux machine up-to-date and perform a clean-up by removing unwanted dependencies and broken library files. Finally, we will create a simple shell script to perform those maintenance tasks.
