Understanding Classification Coding Structures in Plannerly (support for both non/concatenating)
In this video, we explore the many classification structures available in Plannerly (Uniclass 2015, Uniformat, Omniclass, etc) and how they can be customized. Each classification structure in the library has a coding system that can be toggled on or off in the view preferences. Some structures require the ability to concatenate, meaning that parent codes will join with the children codes, ensuring an updated hierarchy without errors. However, there are also non-concatenated hierarchy options required for certain classification structures. By adjusting the coding style in the project settings, users can choose whether the codes are pushed down the hierarchy or remain at their defined levels.
