"With wind and rain: a birthday party in Nargis hut"
"Life in the Mountain" tells the story of the life of Narges, a nomadic woman who lives in a small hut in the mountains with her two children, Jahan and Jiran, after separating from her husband. Narges has gone through many ups and downs in her life and now she takes care of her children alone.
Rasool, one of the young nomads who had a friendly relationship with Narges before and helps her, together with a local architect named Mohammad Reza and his two students, Isa and Hadi, help Narges to build a hut in the mountains for themselves. This cottage is where Nargis and her children enjoy their peace and quiet.
During the movie, heavy rain and terrible winds start to affect the life of Nargis and her children. With all her being, Narges tries to take care of her children and protect them from the dangers of nature.
At the same time, Nargis's daughter named Jiran celebrates her first birthday. With the help of the cameraman and her friends and neighbors, Narges brings a beautiful birthday cake for Jiran and organizes an energetic party for him. All the characters of the film are present in this celebration and share happy moments together, showing the solidarity and unity among the members of this nomadic community.
