Narges was having a very anxious day. He had not recovered from the shock of his recent accident and arrest when a man named Asghar, the father of the boy who had an accident with Nargis's car, knocked on his door. Narges opened the door with trepidation and invited him inside. He was a middle-aged man with a serious face and a serious look.
Narges asked in a quiet and surprised voice: "Who are you?"
Asghar answered without introduction: "I am the father of the boy with whom you had an accident. He is in the hospital now and the cost of his surgery is very high."
Narges, who had a heavy feeling of guilt in her heart, lowered her head. Asghar continued in a harsh tone: "I know that you were behind the car and your husband turned himself in instead of you. Now you have to pay me for the surgery or I will go to the police and tell everything."
"It was just an accident, the insurance will pay the expenses," Narges said worriedly, fearing the possibility of being detained again and being separated from her children.
Asghar grinned and said, "Yes, the insurance will pay, but if I sue and tell everything, the insurance won't do anything. Then you go to jail."
"Please don't complain! I provide the money. I have two small children and there is no one to take care of them. I am also divorced from my husband," Nargis begged with a trembling voice.
Asghar looked at Nargis' worried face and said indifferently, "I don't have money to pay for the surgery. I will give you two days to prepare the money, otherwise I will file a complaint."
Narges could not speak because of fear and worry. Asghar left the house with heavy steps and left Narges alone with the heavy burden of this problem.
He leaned against the wall, his breathing heavy and his thoughts confused. He had to provide the money within two days, but he did not know how. The worry of the future that might lead him to prison was like a heavy shadow on his shoulders. Narges was now caught in one of the biggest worries of her life and had to find a way to save herself and her children.
