Making INDIRECT QUESTIONS (making questions/subject or object questions used with expressions)
Mr. P. has already talked about how to ask questions in English. In this lesson, he explains four different ways to make indirect questions. What are indirect questions? They are questions used to sound more polite or to maintain a certain distance from the person you are talking to. These questions are formed at work, for example, but also at school with a teacher or with someone you do not know well.
This lesson is intended for intermediate students who wish to improve their English grammar and those above levels who want to clarify doubts about this topic.
