West Yorkshire MTB - Whirlaw Common
I have been keen to explore the riding in my local area, so I purchased a book called West Yorkshire Mountain Biking South Penine Trails on Amazon, written by Benjamin Haworth.
The first ride in this book is Whirlaw Common, coming in at 11km with total ascent approx 250m. In total with our chatting, taking a wrong turn it took us 1.5 hourts to complete. Other than the monster climb at the start, you are then rewarded with descents/trraversing all the way back to the carpark.
There is nothing to phase you on this ride, and you get rewarded with some great views all along it.
I also have Callis Woods coming up for the next video which is half of the second ride in this book.
