Selva Mudaliar Everett began her career 43 years ago at Fircrest as a new counselor and has grown with Fircrest ever since.

Direct Care Providers, also known as Attendant Counselors, are compassionate about the well-being of our residents with developmental and intellectual disabilities.
Administered by the Department of Social and Health Services’ (DSHS) Developmental Disabilities Administration (DDA), Fircrest provides support to about 200 people with intellectual and developmental disabilities in a residential setting. Fircrest employees take pride in providing excellent care and service to residents and seek activities that are centered around resident needs and desires.
The park-like 88-acre Fircrest campus, located in Shoreline just north of Seattle, provides residents and staff easy access to major medical and educational facilities to best support care. The prime location also provides numerous opportunities for residents and staff to participate in many of the sporting, cultural and outdoor events held in the greater Seattle area.
