It’s safe to say that the summer reveals of Dragon Age The Veilguard have been less than ideal. Both the companion trailer and gameplay reveal have more dislikes than likes, and a lot of the comments are basically writing this game off as dead on arrival.
But has the hatred for The Veilguard gone a bit too far? At this point, we’ve only seen bits and pieces of the game but I feel like it’s still too early to write the entire project off as a failure. There are certainly valid criticisms that can be levied against Dragon Age, but I’m hesitant to jump onto the negativity train before I’ve had a chance to play the game myself.
So this week I sat down with WolfheartFPS to talk about the public perception of The Veilguard, analyze the criticism, and share our thoughts about a RPG that we have been waiting on for 10 years.
