Is Dragon Age Origins Still WORTH PLAYING? (2024 Review)
It’s been 15 years since Dragon Age Origins took the RPG world by storm. At the time, Origins was a massive critical and commercial success for Bioware. And yet - the studio completely departed from the formula of this game in Dragon Age 2 and Inquisition. Opting to chase after an even wider market. And given the recent gameplay reveals for The Veilguard, it seems they’re straying even further away from Origins.
In this video, I’m going to revisit Dragon Age Origins and let you know if it’s still worth playing. TLDR - it is.
We’re going to take a look at the combat, roleplaying options, companions, romance and more to give you a sense of what DAO is all about. I’ll be keeping this video mostly spoiler free aside from some basic story setup.
