Sharing TrialLines Publicly Using a Link, and With Other Account Owners
TrialLine now enables you to share your TrialLines with other account owners, and also to make TrialLines publicly available to anyone who has the link for that TrialLine, without requiring a password.
Previously, TrialLines could only be edited by teammates who had been added to the account of the owner of the TrialLine in question. It was not possible to share TrialLines with other account owners. But now you can!
To share a TrialLine with an account owner outside of your organization, first open the ‘Edit Settings’ window for the TrialLine that you would like to share, by clicking the ‘Edit’ button for the appropriate TrialLine from your dashboard.
Next, open the ‘Manage Team’ tab, and then click the ‘Share With Outside TrialLine User’ button. Enter in the information for the user you would like to give access to this TrialLine to, and click the ‘Create’ button.
Click the ‘Confirm’ button in the confirmation message that pops up, and the user that you added will get an email inviting them to that TrialLine. Once they confirm, they will be able to access that TrialLine from within their own dashboard. You can revoke their access at any point, should you need to.
To create a view of your TrialLine that is visible to anyone with the link, without requiring a password, first open the TrialLine in question by clicking the 'View' button for the correct TrialLine from your dashboard.
Adjust which events are being displayed by using the filtering system to remove events in unwanted categories. Once your TrialLine view is ready, save the view using the ‘Save View’ button in the right hand toolbar.
Next, click the ‘Views’ button in the top left corner to open the views menu. In the row for the view that you want to make publicly visible, check the ‘Enable Public Visibility?’ box and then confirm by clicking the ‘Yes’ button.
That view of your TrialLine will now be visible to anyone who has the share link. To require the password again, simply uncheck the ‘Disable Public Access’ checkbox and confirm by clicking ‘Yes’.
