Nickmercs TRASH TALK In MLG Got HEATED
Nickmercs went on stream yesterday to let his Twitch chat know that trash talking in esports today had nothing on the trash talk from his time in the MLG a decade ago, saying he was screaming in people’s faces and rinsing his chat’s dads in live events.
Nickmercs is known for being one of Twitch’s biggest streamers, but for many years he competed in Gears of War in the MLG, and he wanted to let chat know that the trash talk in that scene absolutely dominated the weak trash talk he sees today.
Saying that he likely played against his chat’s dads in big Gears of War events and smoked them, Nickmercs describes getting up between rounds and screaming at his competitors mom’s, asking them why they brought their child all the way here just to get absolutely rinsed by him. Gears of War trash talk is a legend in the esports scene, and Nickmercs was there right in the golden age of Gears and MLG, yelling over his monitor between rounds.
So the next time you think you heard some spicy trash talk in Valorant, or hear some Call of Duty pros chirping at each other during a live event, just remember that Nickmercs was literally yelling at parents during events for wasting his time by driving their kids out to play against him.
