Model Steamboat running Diy mini steam engine & handmade propeller underwater view!
First test run of the larger scratch built 25-inch steamboat, made with 1/16" plywood and 1/4" frames. The engine is a homebuilt double acting oscillating type with 3/8-inch bore. Propeller is 1.5 inches in diameter made of .025 brass sheet soldered to a 1/4-inch brass rod. It's running with a Wilesco #5 boiler fired on alcohol.
