In this MaxMSP demo, we demonstrate how our workflow enables DMI designers to condition synthesis using timbral features. We load a sample whose timbre we like and extract the timbral features from it. We select the timbral features we're interested in and use them as synthesis parameters for neural synthesis (using RAVE models) and traditional synthesis (using a VST).
